By applying new data and Princeton’s supercomputers to the classic question of what lies beneath our feet, Princeton seismologist Jessica Irving and an international team of colleagues have developed a new model for the Earth’s outer core, a liquid iron region deep in the Earth.

Princeton President Eisgruber issues statement on Supreme Court travel ban ruling

In a 5-4 decision Tuesday, June 26, the U.S. Supreme Court upheld a federal order that bans travelers from certain majority-Muslim countries from entering the United States. Princeton University President Christopher L. Eisgruber issued the following statement in response to the ruling.

Princeton-NOAA climate institute awarded $40 million

Sen. Cory Booker stresses the power of small acts during Princeton’s Class Day

United States Sen. Cory Booker of New Jersey addressed the Princeton Class of 2018 during the Class Day ceremony on June 4. Booker told seniors their power is not in the degrees they hold or how physically strong they are, but in the small acts of kindness and love they show every day.
